Patience and Wine

I received a call from my H.S batch yesterday and told me of an invitation from our other batch who just came from Singapore. Though, the hot weather seemingly was not alluring to go out, but I need to meet up with the host for some very important matter to discuss with aside from the upcoming reunion. The weather and the time I had spent waiting for the one who called me have tested how much patience I have in myself. Fortunately, and again, been glad able to show to myself that I am more patient now than before.

The patience test was not over yet because when we reached the house of the host, darkness greeted us because there was power interruption in their area, and they got no electricity from morning up to 6 in the evening. Good thing though, the house is made of wood which could give a bit of cold breeze inside, coupled with a good conversation we had. I really appreciate houses made of woods as it had long been my dream to build one.

The conversation didn’t mind us as to what time would the electricity be back, because we were carried away of the topic and the laughter that once again we made. Until the lights resumed and we began to have moved ourselves from our seats and head over to the dining table and savor all the food that was served. I had to set aside my vegetarian diet to of course respect what had been served, and besides I really am not strict with my diet (lol!). On top of that, I am just human and capable of violating some rules. We didn’t drink some wines to neutralize some acids of what we ate (I don’t think wine is a neutralizer), but when I got home that night I opened a bottle of wine and enjoy one glass of it myself and later crawled up to my bed and slept.

Experience the feeling as if you're into a very serene places as you look over some of the photos posted on Scenic Sunday.
