Simple Joys
The word “success” does not only mean you’ve got good career or have higher compensation than that of the other. But it also means anything, which you have accomplished in your daily life. Setting up a goal is first being done if you have something you want to do on a particular day. If one morning when I wake up and plan to get physical exercise and had not been able to do it could have been called success if I was able to really do it.
People disqualify small accomplishments if they look at success as something that is only related to their career and relationships with other people. They may ask their selves, “Why I am failed both on my job and love.” Others may also look down at someone who is not as successful as they are. This is because they think these two (job and love relationship) are the only things that make them happy and are worth living for. Are those who have succeeded in their career and marriage, lets say, really are happy? Or are they hungry for more that is why they are unhappy.
To be able to achieve real happiness is dependent on the person. If he /she looks at simple things simply accomplished could make her/him happy then I could tell that this person is contented of what he has on that particular time of day. Nothing guarantees happiness; it’s us, who will make our selves happy. Not even love, companionship and marriage could guarantee it because they may not even sufficient either, and the proof of this is the millions of men and women who are married and miserable.
Be happy of what you have right now. Don’t try to push yourself on something you think is the one and only happiness and later on realized that it’s not. Life after all was about teaching on inner enlightenment, a high consciousness marked by peace of mind and detachment from the things of the world. Life was not about perfection, it was about letting go of the need to perfect anything, to go anywhere…

ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic image here..perfect setting!I would also have to agree about happiness in that it doesn't depend on outward experiences..your job or mate and when the ship comes in, ha. Anyway, hope you have a wonderful weekend!
